Friday February 11, 2011 Day one of the confirmation retreat:
Tonight was a fun and fulfilled night. To start off we checked in and were assigned to the our cabins then after went to the hall to do a collage of our personality. Then after that we did confession, and to end the day we had a great time meeting new faces, and just seeing everyone have fun. Now to see what's in for tomorrow.
Saturday February 12, 2011 Day two of the confirmation retreat:
Today was the most fun days yet. From the talks about family, and relationship, to self-esteam those talks were deep, and they were all talking about forgiveness, after we ate lunch and then we went on the odyssey while it was raining but we all had a blast. From Team Epic to Team Team, they all had fun. Even though some students didn't go on, they had fun watching and taking pictures. After that we all rushed back to cabins to shower cause we all were soaked. Then we had dinner, mass then our bonfire. While we were at the bonfire we made our smores and played a game called "Chuby Bunny", that participants that were in the game was Elaine, Kanisa, Keoni, 'Auli'i, Janelle, Jake, and Brennon. They all looked funny. Then we watched a movie. All of us went back to the cabins and got our blankets and pillows, instead of watching the movie some of us we sleeping because we were so tired.
Sunday February 13, 2011 Day Three of the confirmation Retreat (Last Day-closing mass)
"Good Morning guys, its time to get up" "Rise-n-shine"
Its time to pack and its almost breakfast, Sunday is here and all the students had an exciting time at the retreat. Everyone joined us at our closing mass at St. Michael's church. Had testimonies from Noah Nellis, Jeren Dingal, and Dale Aquino. The youth sang wonderfully and did a wonderful performance of Lean on Me.
Thank you all for joining our mass and thank you students for attending the confirmation retreat. Thank you Sts. Peter and Paul, OLS, and Paige Thomas for joining us. Hope to see you guys next year or in the neat future.

On Saturday, October 23, 2010, the World Youth Group had a Spanish Dinner Fundraiser. This fundraiser was for their trip to World Youth Day Spain in summer of 2011. Last night was an experience for many of the youth. Food was prepared by Chef Maka Kwon. A tri-star chef from the top of the Ilikai Hotel.
The youth had to serve tables. Meaning they were dressed in uniform, took their table orders and served like we were at a restaurant. Thanks to Aunty Michelle Galbiso for getting the chef and putting this all together. Also thanks to everyone for helping @ this fundraiser.
I could tell that everyone was having fun because of the Spanish Dancers. Father Johnathan was also having fun by dancing!
The night swell and everyone was having fun. Comments were made that we should do more dinners like these, like places like Italy, and other places. To me this is a good idea, and we should do this but in the future.
If you would like to see pictures, look under the picture tabs.
If you have a any comments about the Spanish Dinner please feel free to send comments on our website.

Kalua Pig Fundraiser
* Imu- Underground Oven
* Kalua- To Bake in a ground oven
On August 21, 2010 the World Youth Day members made a Kalua Pig Fundraiser. Their fundraiser was really successful and they sold everything. They had Kalua Pig and rice pudding and everything went.
On Friday August 20, 2010 they men the prepping with the help of the women. They wrapped the pork butt with foil and placed them into baskets to put them in the imu.
Boy were those baskets heavy! The baskets weighed about 80 something pounds!
They youth had so much fun that they wanted to do it again. They slept over one night to be there by 5AM and they worked! I can tell you that they had fun cause everyone worked really hard.
Also a visiting priest came and help. Father Feugo came out and helped and he said "I haven't seen this much meat in my life"
