Kalua Pig Fundraiser * Imu- Underground Oven * Kalua- To Bake in a ground oven On August 21, 2010 the World Youth Day members made a Kalua Pig Fundraiser. Their fundraiser was really successful and they sold everything. They had Kalua Pig and rice pudding and everything went. On Friday August 20, 2010 they men the prepping with the help of the women. They wrapped the pork butt with foil and placed them into baskets to put them in the imu. Boy were those baskets heavy! The baskets weighed about 80 something pounds! They youth had so much fun that they wanted to do it again. They slept over one night to be there by 5AM and they worked! I can tell you that they had fun cause everyone worked really hard. Also a visiting priest came and help. Father Feugo came out and helped and he said "I haven't seen this much meat in my life"
